PADDLING AND MOTOR BOAT TOURS
Kayak, canoe and motor boat tours are available onsite from our beautiful location in Sunnybrook, Nova Scotia, just a four minute drive from the heart of Lunenburg. Our touring fleet is made up of top brand sea kayaks, SUP’s, canoes, and a trusty motor boat. Available for rental and tours are; tandem sea kayaks (2 person), single sea kayaks, single sit on top leisure kayaks, and canoes (2-3 person) Our motor boat seats 4-5 individuals.
All tours have the following included; professional paddling PFD’s (Lifejackets) from Canadian company MEC, and a 10 L dry bag with waterproof cellphone case. Also included is a safety kit including a bail bucket, 50 ft throw rope with float, whistle, compass and a flashlight.
Two people minimum are required for tour bookings.15% discount for groups of four individuals. Minimum age is 13 for single kayaks.
BACHMANS TOUR / 5-6 HOURS / $129 PER PERSON
A tour of Lunenburg Second Peninsula Provincial Park and Bachmans Beach.
Follow along the shore of Lunenburg peninsula, stopping throughout the day at the best parks and beaches the town has to offer. This guided 6-7 hour tour is suitable for a wide range of ages and levels of fitness, from the young to the young at heart.
On our full day tour, you will experience the beautiful scenery of islands, parks and beaches outside the town of Lunenburg. On this tour, we visit places that are slightly further along the shore, such as the picnic areas of Lunenburg Second Peninsula Provincial Park and the beautiful white sand Bachmans Beach. Our first destination will be the park where we can go ashore to find some picnic tables and public washrooms for a relaxing lunch break by the sea. We then depart for Bachmans Beach where we can go ashore and spend some time frolicking, tanning, adventuring or swimming on the beautiful white sand. After enjoying a beach day, we will return back to dock.
This tour includes a break mid-way at the Provincial Park where there will be public washrooms available and places to comfortably sit for lunch. Each tour varies depending on wind conditions as well as the individuals interests and abilities.
HERMANS TOUR / 3-4 HOURS / $89 PER PERSON
A tour of Hermans Island, Lunenburg Yacht Club, Little Hermans Island and Bachmans Island Beach.
Paddle Nova Scotia’s coastline and visit beautiful white sand islands, or sit back and relax in our motor boat. This guided 3-4 hour tour is suitable for a wide range of ages and levels of fitness, from the young to the young at heart.
On this tour we will travel across an inlet heading towards the beautiful white sand islands of Mahone Bay. This is not a long distance paddle or ride by motor boat so you will have plenty of time to go ashore and spend time on the beach for a break, tan, stroll or swim. After an island rest stop, we will meander past the Lunenburg Yacht Club and check out the different styles of boats floating in the bay. Depending on the tide, we can travel under a bridge on the way back to our dock.
